2021 NOFA NY Winter Conference

 

The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York, Inc. (NOFA-NY) is pleased to open registration for its 2021 Winter Conference!

 

NOFA-NY’s Winter Conference will take place virtually from January 16 – 23, 2021, offering eight days of online workshops, discussion groups, and entertainment. The conference also features the third biennial Northeast Organic Seed Conference, as well as NOFA-NY’s 2021 organic dairy programming.

 

“This year has shown the strength, ability, and generosity of NOFA-NY’s family to accomplish the hard work of not only producing the most nutritious foods for our community, but also supporting one another in the most challenging of times,” said Bethany Wallis, NOFA-NY’s Executive Director. “Whether you’re a longtime conference-goer or new to NOFA-NY, we look forward to connecting with all of you through our virtual conference this January 2021.”

 

Featured speakers include:

  • Keynote speaker Laura Lengnick, founder and principal at Cultivating Resilience, LLC
  • Northeast Organic Seed Conference keynote speaker Banu Subramaniam, Professor of Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst
  • 2021 NOFA-NY Farmer of the Year Brian Caldwell, founder of Hemlock Grove Farm and National Organic Standards Board member

 

Registrants can choose to attend the full conference or purchase a one-day pass. Sliding scale pricing is offered for full conference registrations. Scholarship funding is also available – scholarship applications must be submitted by November 27. Visit nofany.org/scholarships to apply.
