Western NY Soil Health Field Day at Zeliff Farm on July 16, 2025:
On July 16, farmers, landowners, and ag professionals gathered at Zeliff Farm in Middleport, NY, for a full day of hands-on learning. Hosted by American Farmland Trust, New York Soil Health, and the Western NY Soil Health Alliance, the event focused on regenerative practices for pasture-based and specialty crop systems. Highlights included discussions on converting cropland to pasture, utilizing biochar in grazing systems, soil health benchmarking, and grazing best practices, as well as interactive demonstrations featuring drones, the NY Soil Health Trailer, and cover crops.

August 7, 2025 Field Day at Rodman Lott & Son Farms
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Soil Health Field Day at Rodman Lott & Son Farms. What an inspiring day! From engaging speakers and an insightful farmer panel to hands-on demonstrations and a BBQ lunch, the event was full of valuable learning and networking opportunities. It was great to see so many participants come together to share ideas and experiences. (See photos below!)
