The Cover Crop Variety Testing Network seeks farmers to participate as citizen scientists in Fall 2025 cover crop trials. This collaborative national project aims to identify which cover crop varieties perform best across different regions, management practices, and farming systems.
Participants will receive seeds and choose which species to trial in small plots (ranging from 5 ’ x 15’ to 1/8-acre strips). Farmers will then collect and share basic performance data for each variety tested.
Interested? Space is limited! Fill out the short sign-up survey by June 15.
