The registration for IBI 2023 Biochar Field Days on agricultural uses of biochar is now open!

Interest in biochar continues to grow among the agriculture community but many questions remain. In collaboration with NY Soil Health and Cornell University, we are excited to organize these field days that will provide guidelines for using biochar in agriculture and share practical insights for farmers when it comes to applying biochar to crops.

This session will be held on June 22 – 23, 2023, and participants will hear from representatives from the USDA, American Farmland Trust, Cornell University, local farmers and other biochar experts!

Spots are limited so we encourage you to register ASAP.

Cost to attend:

$300 for Non New York State (NYS) residents

$125 for NYS residents for two days, $75 for one day

Scholarships are available through Cornell’s Farm Ops project for U.S. military veterans who reside in New York State. Veterans may request reimbursement for mileage, registration fees, and in some cases a $100 participation stipend to offset related costs.
